AARP Pennsylvania

AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, social welfare organization with a membership of nearly 38 million (1.8 in Pennsylvania) that helps people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, strengthens communities and fights for the issues that matter most to families – such as health care, employment and income security and protection from financial abuse. AARP was founded in 1958 by Ethel Percy Andrus, a retired educator from California. AARP has offices in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. AARP is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
