On December 19, we had about 40 attendees at our annual “Meet the Township Managers” lunch at Peppers By Amedeo’s. We were fortunate to have four terrific sponsors, Comcast, Merrymead Farm, The Montgomery County Bar Association and Open Tier Systems. Five Township Managers participated, including Crandall Jones of Norristown, Tim Tieperman of Upper Providence, Tony Hamaday of Upper Merion, Bill Walker of Horsham and Aaron Bibro of Hatfield. Each of them spoke of the tremendous development happening in their townships, road improvements, bustling businesses and job opportunities. They each talked about the struggles their townships faced during COVID and the recoveries they have each made in the process. In addition, each manager received their name in a book from the Norristown Public Library. Our attendees asked some thoughtful and poignant questions related to municipalities adapting the influx of Electric Vehicles, challenges facing municipalities and general questions about how they serve. We are so proud to offer this annual event and so many more like this to our members each year.
