Join us for a Town Hall Meeting with County Recorder of Deeds, Jeanne Sorg and Prothonotary, Noah Mailer.
Jeanne Sorg is the Recorder of Deeds, responsible for maintaining all land records and documents in Montgomery County, as well as other documents, including recording the commissions of notaries public, military discharge papers of all eligible service and reserve members; subdivision, state highway, and railroad plans; powers of attorney; and other miscellaneous documents.
Jeanne has an innovative program designed for veterans. If you or someone you know part of our armed forces, this discussion is for you.

Noah Mailer is the Prothonotary elected civil clerk of the Court of Common Pleas and is responsible for recording all civil procedures before the court. This official signs and seals all writs and processes numerous other documents of the Court of Common Pleas. The Office of Prothonotary is responsible for the recording and filing of legal papers of a widely diversified character such as:
